Missouri S&T Password Guidelines

This page will guide you to changing the password for your university Active Directory (AD) Single Sign-on User ID (SSO User ID).

Keep in mind that once you change this password you will need to use the new password for any of the following items:

  • Email
  • SSH logins to campus Unix/Linux machines
  • Logins for Windows XP computers on campus
  • SFTP programs
  • The UMSystem MIS web tools
  • Peoplesoft
  • The HelpDesk Request system
  • Other UM/Missouri S&T resources that require you to authenticate
  • Novell (NDS) access (being phased out of campus usage)
